2. This was so sad, i cant blame colby for not wanting to stand up and reas this. He seems like a very good young man. I wish him the best in life.. I know ,this had to be hard on him when he is the last of the children..

8. I just listened to this twice and caught something I didn't notice yesterday. At the end Colby's statement he said not only did he lose his immediate family but he lost cousins, family, friends and everything in between. I want to know what cousins and family he's talking about? Are family members cutting off/shunning him because he cut Lori off? Are they angry he won't forgive her?
   I was going to take a certified forensic speech analysis course last year and it's times like this I get upset life interrupted my plans.

9. Can't imagine what he's been going through. The annihilation of his immeduate family at the hands of his own mother – that doesn't bare thinking about, but it actually happened. Lori could bring herself to murder Tammy and JJ, she may well have gone on and targeted others she thought "turned Zombie". His persistence, along with Larry and Kay's public appeals, along with the work of their daughter on this channel helped ensure at least some justice. Colby has, I think, his own family, and – although the pain and loss will be there permanently – he can lead a decent life with them.

10. My heart is filled with sadness for the loss of so much caused by his own mother. I hope his life is filled with hope and happiness as he heals and begins to move forward in life. I know God has a plan for him. I'll be praying for him to heal and find some kind of normalcy for his future. Thank you

22. @iffyangel3380 He’s the onlY living family member besides his evil mother. You shouldn’t judge him and how he grieves. He’s young and has a family of his own to support he probably didn’t have the finances to go to Idaho or he couldn’t face her again after he testified! He also confronted her when they were found dead on Chads property. Give him a break he lost the only good father he’s ever had and his siblings not to mention his mom who he probably won’t ever speak to or see her again except for the AZ trial ! I’ve only lost my father on bad circumstances in Mesa because my grandmother took my dad out of the hospital against my step moms and his Drs wishes. He lived on the edge of Gilbert and chandler the police in Mesa Gilbert and chandler ate partially responsible for what happened to hom and my step grandfather. My dad had a brain tumor and injuries from all the surgeries the Dr here could’ve saved them but my grandma never rook him in for surgery the day he flew to Az keep in Mind my dad was never violent or crazy until he got that brain tumor. My dad couldn’t drive or see well anymore . My uncle and his wife lived on Mesa where my step grandparents lived. I always will wonder how he got to their house on the first place maybe a taxi or it was my uncle that’s why he felt so guilty he died last year and I didn’t get to make peace with him! My uncle was a good person my dad was as well until the tumor amd all the shunts they put into his brain to drain the excess fluid! I was 9 years old and felt so much guilt and pain from what my dad did . Don’t judge victim survivors for their parents actions! It took years of therapy and reuniting with my step mom my half brother aunts uncles and especially my grandma her self my step grandma they were more of grandparents than my real grandparents!
