12. False memories are definitely a thing! Some forms of therapy induce them. Look up Elizabeth Loftus has done plenty of research on memory-
    Also check out Debbie Nathan’s book about the true story of Sybil. That was one of the earliest cases that was fiction! And much of the satanic panic b therapy induced bullshit came as a result of Sybil being presented as true.
    It’s disgusting that there are therapists wanting to tell people such horrific things have happened to them-
    I have many friends who have been abused for years as kids and they WISH they could forget it!
    It’s like Tim Ballard blaming brown people for trafficking in the wild tales- yet he couldn’t even find a trafficker (should have looked in the mirror)
    Instead of looking in his own community where there is plenty of real abuse happening – to kids and teens who won’t be able to forget it.
