25. I continue to be shocked by the Mormon religion. I’ve learned so much about this religion and NONE OF IT good. Not a thing. And many things down right ridiculous. I’m blown away that this religion was started by a snake oil salesman who rode into town spouting Bible verses and telling all the men in town that God commands them to have multiple wives to get into heaven. And all of the men ate this crap up, and all of the women knew better, but it was a man’s world then.

26. I kept pausing to read the papers. Dispensation means exemption of a rule. What is the Mormon meaning of the word because the literal definition doesn't make sense. As if it weren't already confusing enough to being with but YOU CAN'T JUST GIVE A WORD A NEW DEFINITION?!?!?

30. Thank you! This clarifies Lori’s statement at sentencing in which she said that people die of various other causes (suicide, drug diversion/accidental overdose, accidents etc).

    She’s saying that everyone who died was already dead and had been possessed by demons « zombies » before they killed them. I missed that part of this – that someone had to die FIRST BEFORE they could be possessed. I did know Charles said that she had told him he died and was possessed by a demon in his body named Ned Flanders (?? The religious character from the Simpson’s??). I somehow missed the point that he supposedly died BEFORE he was supposedly possessed (maybe I assumed she was saying the possession itself forced him out of his body…??)

    It’s too bad she didn’t testify, as cross examination would force her to confront the inconsistencies. Like, why were they all people who knew her (she might say the demons were trying to attack her, personally) but, just the amount of deaths and the fact she stood to benefit some personal gain from every single death… I really think she knows better. This is so enlightening to her frame of mind.

    These are just justifications – she can’t really believe them. She saved that statement and she was looking for the time to say what she wanted to an audience without being questioned. She must’ve been questioned by her own legal team and they protected her from this. I had wondered how much they knew about what she was purporting to be true of her beliefs. This is extremely enlightening to that.
